The company was founded in 1968 as a general refrigeration service company and diversified into container refrigeration based at The Port of Tilbury.
Steady growth and development followed to the point where today, Eldapoint has service depots in all the major ports and is the UK’s largest provider of container storage, handling and repair services to international shipping.
In addition Eldapoint is one of the largest manufacturers of High Security Steel Accommodation, Storage, Equipment and Specialist Enclosures in the UK.
The company now also has two other divisions, a Self Storage Division that provides self storage for both private and business customers, and a Haulage Division operating primarily from its Southampton Depot.
