Eldapoint offer the option of refurbishing cargo worthy containers. Here we document the painting of a 20DC container and fitting a new window.
Step 1 – Select a suitable Cargoworthy 20DC container.
Cargoworthy means the unit has been deemed suitable for the transport of cargo. These units come with a valid CSC plate and can vary in colour.
Conversions are also available on other containers. See our shipping containers and storage containers sections.
Step 2 – Position the frame to decide on the location for the window.
As our work is done to order, the customer is able to choose the location of the window to suit their requirements.
Step 3 – Prime and paint the container. The container shown was painted in RAL7038.
Other common colours are Blue (ral5013) or Green (ral6005). Many other colours are available.
Step 4 – Fit window. This can also be done prior to painting.
Once the conversion is completed, we offer a full container delivery service to most of the UK.
On site, we are able to arrange lifting and fitting of the container, ensuring the customer gets a complete service.
