From digital modelling to the final project

Eldapoint Container Conversions create bespoke solutions by modifying standard shipping containers. Working closely with our clients to understand their needs we carefully design your container from start to finish offering advice on build materials, internal lining products and finish coatings to give you the finished unit you require.

From initial contact either through our online enquiry form or by phone/email regarding a new product you are looking to develop, you will be allocated your own personal Project Manager who will guide you through the process from quote through to project completion. Each project managers role is to work with the client to meet their requirement keeping the cost of the conversion within any budgets or timescales.

With many years of experience in shipping container conversions, Eldapoint has the expertise to make your project successful. Using the latest cutting edge AutoCAD 2D and 3D computer modelling software we design and develop each unit, with the customer involved throughout the process so any modifications or changes can be made before we progress into manufacture.

Once any drawings or models have been approved for manufacture, the project is booked into the system to determine its completion date. In addition, a full bill of materials is created which is then used by our purchasing team to procure the appropriate materials. The purchasing team liaise with manufacturing to agree material delivery dates so that the production plan can be completed and at this point the build can then commence. Throughout the build process the Project Manager will keep you updated by either sending you photos during the build or by inviting you to site to see the build in progress.

After the steelwork is complete, we then invite our customers to view the unit prior to painting. This gives the client the opportunity to make any changes or add any detail as once the unit has been coated it is harder to modify the unit and can be costly to make any changes.

Once the unit is painted the unit is then moved to the fit out area where any lining, electrics or plumbing can be completed using our own inhouse contractors. All of this work is to the specification and detail agreed with the client during the design stage. Once again, during this process the customer is kept up to date with progress and offered the opportunity to view the unit in situ.

Eldapoint Container Conversions can also offer our services to assist you with installation of the units on site if required. We are happy to liaise with the customer and any on site personnel to ensure all aspects are covered prior to the projects arrival.
