Ion Safecharge ensures fire containment for up to an hour, potentially saving lives and safeguarding surrounding infrastructure and equipment. This versatile unit is easy to transport and user-friendly, offering peace of mind for industries embracing lithium-ion technology.

FIRE-RATED SECURITY FEATURES

60-MINUTE FIRE-RATING

This Ion Safecharge has passed certification for 1 hour of Passive Fire Protection. Every component within the unit, such as the lining panels, doors, and ventilation systems, meets this 60-minute approval. Passive fire protection acts as a crucial defensive barrier preventing fire from spreading from one place to another.

FIRE SAFETY & ALARM SYSTEM

In the event of a fire, the system will automatically cut off power to the charging circuits and extraction fan. However, the fire alarm itself will continue to be powered and operational.

ALARM NOTIFICATION

Upon activation of the fire alarm, an automated dialler will send a text message alert to designated phone numbers. The dialler is equipped with a compact backup battery, either supplied by the connected control panel or an optional 9V PP3 battery, ensuring the system remains operational in the event of a power failure.
